Health Benefits of Essential Oils
“Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired?” Both of these issues, sickness and tiredness, can be treated with something called essential oils. These volatile, aromatic compounds from plants can help with physical ailments and mental/emotional issues. Aromatherapy just means using these plant oils for treatment (and prevention). There are three ways to use them…. And remember, this is very empowering and can help you to transform yourself and your life. You can take your healthcare into your own hands, with no nasty side-effects. It is very empowering to know that you can do something about your well-being, without waiting for a crisis and expensive hospital treatments.
So, what are the three ways of using essential oils? We call them aromatic, topical and internal. Aromatic simply means inhalation or diffusing the microparticles of essential oils into the air we breathe.
Diffuser is an ultrasonic device that combines oils with water and creates a mist with the oil molecules. Aromatic use can be invigorating or relaxing, depending on the oil that you diffuse.
Topical use means applying essential oils on the skin. The oil molecules are so small that they penetrate through the skin very rapidly and enter the blood stream in seconds. Some essential oils can be used “neat” (without dilution), but others need to be diluted with a carrier oil (vegetable oil). If you order from us, you will get Fractionated Coconut Oil for dilution. This oil is always liquid and has no fragrance. It is also very good for the skin. Overall, many essential oils are great for skincare, but they can be used as natural medicine, too, by applying them topically. Migraines and muscle pains are just two examples.
Internal use means ingesting very small amounts of essential oils. We have capsules that contain two drops of oils, which are beneficial for the digestive system, immune defence etc. Did you know that some oils act just like antihistamines and help with allergies? We have capsules for different conditions and treatments, including antibacterial and antiviral oils. Very handy during pandemics! And, bacteria don’t become resistant to essential oils, unlike antibiotics
